Amarillo Bulls News Release
AMARILLO, TX - The Amarillo Bulls announced (Today) Wednesday that forward Ryan Stevens has been placed on the season ending injured reserve list.
Stevens, who sustained a shoulder injury during the second period of Sunday night's game against the Odessa Jackalopes, will require surgery. Bulls Head Coach Dennis Williams said Stevens had been an excellent player for the team prior to his injury.
"I thought since Christmas that Ryan was one of our top players," said Williams. "He is a super young man. The biggest thing is that once he's had the surgery done that he can get the rehabilitation going and be ready for next season."
Williams said he's looking forward to Stevens being big part of the team next season.
"I expect Ryan to come back and be a big time player for us," he said. "He has the attributes to be a Division I hockey player and he's been getting some school interest."
