Pawtucket Red Sox News Release
The PawSox game with Charlotte was suspended in the third inning on Monday night with the Sox leading 2-1. Pawtucket got off to a fast start. Ryan Kalish, playing in his first Triple A game sijnce hurting his shoulder in April, belted a double to the gap in left-center in his first at bat. Ryan Lavarnway followed with his 14th home run in a PawSox uniform to give the visitors a 2-0 lead. The Knights scored a run against Kyle Weiland in the bottom of the second on an RBI single by Andrew Garcia.
The game is scheduled to resume on Tuesday at 12:15 p.m. It will be played to a nine inning completion. The regularly scheduled game will be a seven inning affair.
