June 24, 2015 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Niagara IceDogs News Release

Niagara IceDogs Head Coach and General Manager Marty Williamson announced today that Ryan Ludzik has been named the IceDogs new goaltending coach.

Ludzik joins the organization after the IceDogs and former goaltending coach Lucas Lobsinger mutually agreed to part ways.

Ludzik joins the IceDogs after a playing career that included time with the Erie Otters from 2005-2007 and the Windsor Spitfires during the 2007-08 season. After finishing his junior career with the Niagara Falls Canucks, Ludzik spent time with the Bloomington PrairieThunder and Tulsa Oilers before retiring and starting his own goaltending camps. Ludzik has worked with OHL goaltenders Zach Bowman and Dylan Wells and spent this past season working as the goaltending coach for the Niagara Falls Canucks and the Brock Badgers Men's and Women's hockey teams.

"I'm extremely excited to get started" said Ludzik. "I look forward to getting to know everyone throughout the organization and can't wait."

Attitude is a big part of what the IceDogs new goaltending coach looks to bring to the organization.

"I'm a passionate individual who is looking to bring results and I want to win, just like the rest of the coaching staff" said Ludzik. "I pride myself on having close, solid relationships with my goaltenders and I intend to continue that with the IceDogs."

The entire IceDogs organization would like to welcome Ryan to the team! We also would like to thank Lucas for his efforts and wish him all the best in his future endeavors.
