
Rush Kick off 2011 Preseason Against the Arizona Sundogs

Rapid City Rush News Release
(Rapid City, SD) - The Rapid City Rush will play the first of two preseason games against the Arizona Sundogs tonight at 6:35pm at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center Ice Arena. The second and final preseason contest is set for tomorrow, October 18th at 6:35pm. General admission tickets are still available for just $10.
Rapid City's 26 contracted players have been battling since last Monday in a high-tempo training camp, looking to earn a spot on the final 19-man roster. The two preseason contests games will give head coach Joe Ferras and assistant coach Mark DeSantis a good look at the talent brought in and assist them in making a final decision.
Tickets to the preseason games are free for Rush season ticket holders while general admission tickets are just $10.
The Rush begin the 2011-12 regular season on Friday, October 21st, a road contest against the Wichita Thunder.
Rapid City's home opener is set for Friday, October 28th at 7:05pm against the Dayton Gems. Tickets are still available for that contest.
