TONIGHT: The Binghamton Rumble Ponies continue their series against the Yard Goat at Dunkin' Donuts Park. Hartford won the series opener Friday night 8-4.
KAY'S RETURN TO CONNECTICUT: The UCONN standout makes his first start of his professional career in the state of Connecticut tonight. Kay is second in the Eastern League with a 1.62ERA and opposing hitters are batting a league-low .166 against him.
MORE KAY: Kay is going for his seventh win of the year tonight, which would tie him with Sunday's Yard Goats starter Rico Garcia for the league lead.
CONNECTICUT CONNECTIONS: Ponies RHP Joe Zanghi also has Connecticut ties. Zanghi is from Milford, CT. Milford is less than an hour away from Dunkin' Donuts Park.

HARTFORD TAKES OVER FIRST: With the Thunder losing last night, the Yard Goats now have a half-game lead for first place in the Eastern Division, the first time they have been in first since May of 2016! The Ponies are in 4th place for the first time this year after last night's loss, though they only trail the Yard Goats by two games.
