Rudkowsky Loaned To Grand Rapids

PHOENIX, Ariz. - The Phoenix RoadRunners of the ECHL, an affiliate of the San Jose Sharks and the Worcester Sharks, have announced that goaltender Cody Rudkowsky has been loaned to Grand Rapids of the American Hockey League.

It's Rudkowsky's second call-up to Grand Rapids this season. The Willingdon, Alberta native and ninth-year professional was loaned to the Griffins on Oct. 26. He came on in relief of starter Adam Berkhoel and stopped eight of nine shots in 10:56 seconds of play in his only appearance on Oct. 28 against Peoria.

Rudkowsky, 29, is 9-17-3 with a 3.84 goals against average and a .900% save percentage in 30 appearances this season with the RoadRunners. He has logged 109 career games in the AHL with Worcester, Providence, Bridgeport, and Grand Rapids compiling a record of 38-39-17 with a 2.89 goals against average and a .904% save percentage.

Rudkowsky is 142-133-39 in 334 career games with a lifetime 2.82 goals against average and a .910% save percentage.

The RoadRunners have added T.R. Kirkman to their active roster as an emergency back-up goaltender for Friday and Saturday.
