Victoria Royals News Release
Victoria, B.C. - The Victoria Royals are back at home this Friday for Pucks and Paws night against the Everett Silvertips.
Victoria is coming off a 3-2 win over the Vancouver Giants on Saturday and have been preparing both on and off the ice to take on the Western Division leaders on Friday. Everett has won 15 games with their only loss occurring in a shootout against Portland on October 29th. This is the first time since October 9, 2019, that Everett will be in Victoria and the Silvertips will be the first U.S. Division team to face the Royals this season.
"This Friday's game against Everett will be a great test for us. Everett is currently the number two ranked team in the Kia CHL Top Ten rankings," GM and Head Coach Dan Price said. "Our group is energized and looking forward to feeling the energy from our home crowd."
Pucks and Paws with the Royals will feature the RainCoast Dog Rescue and some of their newest adoptable puppies, t-shirts and stickers. The Royals will also be giving away special prizes for fans and their furry friends, as well as donating a portion of hot dog and Nude Beverage sales to the RainCoast Dog Rescue.
