Royals Training Camp Kicks off with Evening Practice

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League, today announced that the Royals' Pre-Season Training Camp will begin on-ice practice sessions on Monday, October 4, 2010, at 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Sovereign Center in Reading, Pennsylvania. Royals' Pre-Season Training Camp will continue through Thursday, October 14. On-ice practice sessions, all of which will be held at the Sovereign Center, are open to the public, and the schedule is set out below. Please note that all times are subject to change.

As a part of the celebration launching the start of Training Camp on Monday, October 4, the Royals will also kick off the sale of 2010-11 individual game tickets to the general public at 6:00 pm that evening at the Sovereign Center Box Office. From that point forward, all persons can purchase individual game tickets at the Sovereign Center Box Office (Monday through Friday, 10 am to 5 pm; and Saturday, 10 am to 2 pm), the Royals' office, Ticketmaster Charge by Phone (800-745-3000), www.ticketmaster.com, or any Ticketmaster outlet.

Please note that 2010-11 season individual game tickets for Royals' Season Ticket Holders will go on sale on Monday, September 13, 2010. Season Ticket Holders must purchase individual game tickets prior to October 4 at the Royals' office (645 Penn Street, 3rd Floor, Reading, PA; 610-898-7825; Monday through Friday, 9 am until 5 pm).

Please also note that during the Training Camp opening night celebration on Monday, October 4, Royals merchandise will be available for purchase at the Sovereign Center.

Opening Day Roster Announced (Approximately 5:00 pm)

The Royals host the team's tenth anniversary home opener on Saturday, October 23, 2010 (7:05 pm), when the Elmira Jackals visit the Sovereign Center. Also, be sure to catch the Royals' season opener live from Trenton, New Jersey, (@ Trenton Devils Saturday, October 16, 2010 @ 7:00 pm)-and all of the team's away games this year-on Royals TV exclusively on BCTV courtesy of Boscov's Travel and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.
