SPRINGDALE, Ark. - Jeremy Guthrie shutout the Colorado Rockies for four innings, but the Rockies broke through against Guthrie for three runs in the fifth inning en route to a 7-2 victory over the Kansas City Royals on Tuesday in Surprise, AZ. Former Natural Mike Moustakas hit a solo home run in the second inning and added a single in the fourth inning. The Royals will host the Los Angeles Dodgers at 3:05 p.m. Wednesday.
