Victoria, BC- The Victoria Royals exploded for four goals in the middle frame to defeat the Vancouver Giants 7-1 on Saturday night at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.

Royals' forward Dante Hannoun tallied the game winner early in the second stanza to spark the club's four goal barrage. The marker was assisted by Matthew Phillips, who scored in the first period, as he dangled through two defenders behind Vancouver's net and then fed Hannoun with a pass across the Giants' crease. Royals' forward Carter Folk tallied the insurance goal on a 4-on-1 rush, before Phillips and Hannoun scored their second markers of the game to put an exclamation mark on the middle frame. Victoria also received goals from Ethan Price and Scott Walford in the third period to round out the scoring.
