OMAHA, NE - The Omaha Royals today announce the creation of Operation RBI. It's a program that will provide an evening of entertainment to families whose loved one is serving or has recently served in America's military service, by giving them tickets to Royals games at Rosenblatt Stadium.

The Operation RBI package includes a minimum of four reserved seats - negotiable depending on the family's size - to almost any Royals home game during the 2008 season. The only games excluded are the July 4th Independence Day Fireworks game, presented by the Omaha World-Herald, the City of Omaha and the Omaha Royals, and the July 18th game featuring post-game fireworks and Keith Anderson in concert, presented by Werner Enterprises, NICF and KAT 103.

"This is our way of honoring those men and women who have served in our country's military," said Royals Director of Community Relations, Lesley Crutcher. "It's a small way for the Royals to show them and their families our appreciation."

Those who qualify for Operation RBI: at least one family member is serving or has returned since January 1, 2007 from serving in the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, Air Force or National Guard branch.

The Royals will provide the Operation RBI tickets for one family per home game during the 2008 season. Game dates are available on a first-come/first-serve basis.

Those interested in signing up for the program may download a registration form at www.oroyals.com. Just click on "Community" at the top of the web site's home page, and then click on "Operation RBI."
