
Royals Announce First Round Playoff Schedule

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League and the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, today announced that the team's first round playoff series against the Wheeling Nailers will begin on Friday, April 14 at the Sovereign Center in Reading at 7:08 pm. The best of five North Division Semi-Final match-up between the Royals and Nailers will then travel to WesBanco Arena in Wheeling, West Virginia, for Games Two (Sunday, April 16 at 6:00 pm) and Three (Tuesday, April 18 at 7:00 pm). If necessary, the series will return to the Sovereign Center on Wednesday, April 19 (7:08 pm) for Game Four. If a fifth game is required, the series will return to WesBanco Arena in Wheeling on Friday, April 21 (7:30 pm). Tickets for Games One and Four at the Sovereign Center in Reading can be obtained by calling the Royals' ticket office at 610-898-7825. All Royals' playoff games will be broadcast live on ESPN Radio 1240am in Ephrata and on the internet at www.royalshockey.com with pre-game beginning 30 minutes before the opening face-off. Streaming video is also available through the Royals' website on a pay per view basis provided by B2 Networks.
