Royals Announce 2012 Draft Camp Schedule

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Royals are pleased to announce the schedule for their upcoming 2012 Draft Camp to take place at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.

The camp will be the first opportunity to see all 10 players selected by the Royals in the 2012 WHL Bantam Draft and will begin on August 19th and conclude on August 21st. Included in this year's crop of draftees are first round picks Tyler Soy (8th overall) and Chaz Reddekopp (13th overall) as well as Victoria native and goaltender Markus Daly.

The camp will see players participate in on-ice training, fitness testing as well as education and billeting information sessions while experiencing some of Victoria's tourist attractions. All on-ice sessions are scheduled for 10 a.m. each day of Draft Camp and will be open to both the media and the general public with free admission. Fitness testing and all off-ice sessions are restricted to team personnel only.

The Royals will kick off their 2012-13 home schedule on September 22nd when they will host the Vancouver Giants at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre. Season tickets and mini-packs are now on sale.
