Royals Announce 2012-13 Reading Eagle Fans' Choice Awards

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL today announced the recipients of the 2012-13 Reading Eagle Fans' Choice Awards. The annual team awards were presented in conjunction with Fan Appreciation Night after tonight's regular season finale at the Sovereign Center in Reading, Pennsylvania, against the Elmira Jackals.
The Royals 2012-13 Fans' Choice Awards were announced as follows: (i) Offensive Player of the Year: Stanislav Galiev; (ii) Defensive Player of the Year presented by V&M Towing: Ethan Cox; (iii) Rookie of the Year: David Vallorani; (iv) Ironman Award: Yannick Tifu; (v) Heart Award: Julien Cayer; (vi) Unsung Hero: Bryant Molle; (vii) Scrapper of the Year presented by V&M Towing: Dustin Stevenson; (viii) Most Valuable Player: Yannick Tifu; and (ix) Fan's Choice Award: Yannick Tifu.
Playoff tickets for the Royals first round Eastern Conference Quarter-Final series against the Greenville Road Warriors are now on sale. The best of seven series starts with Game One on Friday, April 5 (7:05 pm) at the Sovereign Center in Reading, Pennsylvania. The game day broadcast on Friday will kick off on CBS Sports Radio 1240 am and 98.5 fm at 6:35 pm with the Pre-Game Warm-Up Show presented by Steve Moyer Subaru.
