The Aces took the early lead with a run in the second, before the Rox evened the score in the fifth on Mike Sandoval's fifth home run, a solo shot to left field.

The Rox went ahead in the seventh as Mike Sandoval and Brian Jones scored on Bo Newson's single to left, giving the Rox a two-run advantage.
