BROCKTON - The Brockton Rox (20-23) came from behind for a 4-1 victory over the North Shore Spirit (25-18) on Sunday.

The Spirit scored the first run of the game when Alex Trezza scored on a sacrifice fly by Jose Garcia in the fourth inning.

In the bottom of the fourth, Matt Cucurullo led off with a double. When Guye Senjem singled to right field, Cucurullo tried to score, but was cut down at the plate by Garcia's throw. Cucurullo argued the play and was thrown out of the game.

The Spirit held on to the 1-0 lead until the seventh inning. Guye Senjem singled and scored to tie the game on a Craig Lewis' double. Jake Daubert drove in Lewis to give the Rox a 2-1 lead.

The Rox added two insurance runs in the bottom of the eighth. Eugene Julien scored on a sacrifice fly by Senjem, and Saul Bustos scored on a single by Kris Zacuto to give the Rox a 4-1 win.

Mike Henry (3-2) gave up one run in 7.2 innings and picked up the win. Joey Cole stranded the bases loaded in the eighth and retired the Spirit in order in the ninth to pick up his fifth save of the season. Jake Mullis (2-3) suffered the loss for the Spirit.

The Rox will finish the first half with a three-game series in New Jersey. The first game of the series is on Monday night at 7:05 p.m.
