Round Rock, TX - Kevin Cash delivered a three-run triple in the bottom of the eighth inning to lift Round Rock to a 7-5 win over Omaha Thursday night at the Dell Diamond. The Express rallied from three different deficits to complete a four-game series sweep and send the Storm Chasers home at 2-6 after their first road trip of the season.

Eric Hosmer's two-run homer in the first inning, his first at the Triple-A level, got the Storm Chasers on the board and ended a 21-inning scoreless drought. However, Round Rock got the game tied in the fourth on Chad Tracy's two-run home run.

Lorenzo Cain's run-scoring double in the fifth restored the visitors lead and Clint Robinson's leadoff long ball in the sixth extended the Omaha advantage to 4-2.

Kevin Pucetas gave up two runs on five hits over five innings in his first start of the season for the Storm Chasers and left with the lead. Greg Holland took over but yielded Luis Cruz's two-run shot in the home sixth that evened the game at four.

Omaha moved back in front 5-4 in the seventh on David Lough's fielder's choice grounder that plated Paulo Orlando, who had singled with one out.

After a single, walk and catcher's interference loaded the bases against Louis Coleman with one out in the eighth, Cash cleared them with a drive over the the head of Cain in centerfield. Cash was then thrown out at the plate by Cain trying to score on an Esteban German fly ball.

The Storm Chasers return home Friday for their first-ever game at the brand new Werner Park with left-hander Danny Duffy taking the hill against Nashville right-hander Frankie De La Cruz. Coverage gets underway at 6:45 p.m. and can be heard locally on KOIL AM 1180 and online at omahastormchasers.com.
