ROUND ROCK, Texas - Brett Tomko worked six strong innings, and Kevin Cash drove in three runs as the Round Rock Express defeated the New Orleans Zephyrs 5-2 in Tuesday night's Pacific Coast League series finale at The Dell Diamond. The Express (79-52) clinched at least a share of the PCL's American Southern Division title with the win, reducing their magic number to one.

Albuquerque trails Memphis 8-1 in the seventh inning. If Albuquerque loses, Round Rock wins the division title outright and earns a playoff berth.

Cash started the scoring with a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the second inning and added a two-run single in the fourth. Ozzie Martinez led off the top of the fifth with a single and later scored on a wild pitch. However, the Express answered right away with a run on three hits in the top of the fifth. Esteban German led off with a single and scored on a New Orleans error. Chad Tracy added an RBI single. New Orleans (64-67) centerfielder ended the scoring with a sacrifice fly in the seventh.

Tomko (8-5) allowed one run on three hits over 6.0 innings with two walks and five strikeouts. Tanner Scheppers surrendered a run on three hits over 2.0 innings. Tim Wood worked around a single and a walk for a scoreless ninth and his first save with the Express.

New Orleans starter Alex Sanabia (0-2) took the loss; he allowed five runs on nine hits and two walks over 5.2 innings with three strikeouts.

Matt Kata was 3-for-5 with a double and scored a run, while Tracy and German both had two-hit nights.

Martinez clubbed four of the Zephyrs' seven hits and scored both runs.

Round Rock begins a nine-game road trip Wednesday with the first of five games against the Albuquerque Isotopes. First pitch is scheduled for 7:35 p.m. CDT at Isotopes Park. Right-hander Eric Hurley (8-1, 4.24 ERA) is scheduled to pitch for the Express, while left-hander Dana Eveland (12-7, 3.96 ERA) is slated to go for the Isotopes.
