
RoughRiders Swap Forwards with Omaha

Cedar Rapids, IA - The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders have traded forward Harry Roy to the Omaha Lancers today in exchange for forward Jerry Harding.
Harding is a native of Canton, MA. He has played 20 games for the Lancers this season. He is committed to play college hockey at Providence College.
"We welcome Jerry to the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders," said head coach Mark Carlson. "Jerry is a well-rounded, gritty, physical, character player that will help our team win on the ice and in the dressing room."
Roy played in 76 games for the RoughRiders during his two seasons with the team. "We thank Harry for his contributions to the RoughRiders and we wish him the best." Carlson added.
The RoughRiders are home at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena on Saturday, December 15th hosting the Central Illinois Flying Aces at 7:05 pm. The team will be wearing customized ugly sweater jerseys sponsored by the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 125. The jerseys will be auctioned off after the game with the proceeds going to Willis Dady Homeless Services. Country Music artist Jake McVey will also be performing during intermission.
