FRISCO, Texas - With reports surfacing that former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo may embark on a one-day NBA career, the Frisco RoughRiders have extended an open-ended offer to Phil Simms to serve as "lead analyst for a day" on the club's MiLB.tv broadcasts.

"On behalf of the entire RoughRiders organization, we very much look forward to honoring one of TV's all-time best NFL analysts with a very special broadcast experience," RoughRiders general manager Jason Dambach said. "We don't have specific details at this time of when Simms may join our broadcasts, but we encourage fans to watch RoughRiders baseball online and visit Dr Pepper Ballpark."
