Cedar Rapids RoughRiders News Release
Cedar Rapids, Iowa- The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders have acquired forward Derek Danowski from the Ohio Junior Blue Jackets in exchange for a 2007 United States Hockey League draft pick, the RoughRiders announced today.

Danowski, 20, scored one goal and picked up three assists in 11 games with Ohio this season. A 5' 7", 165-pound native of Warren, Michigan, Danowski joined the Blue Jackets this year after spending two seasons with the Texas Tornado of the junior A North American Hockey League.
