Saskatchewan Roughriders News Release
The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced today that they have signed non-import receiver Jordan Sisco to the practice roster.
Sisco was selected by the Riders in the 2nd round (8th overall) in the 2010 CFL Canadian Draft. The 22-year-old was signed by the NFL's Indianapolis Colts in May, but released by the team during training camp last week.
During his four seasons at the University of Regina Rams, Sisco played in 30 career regular season games and recorded 141 receptions for 2,051 yards and 11 touchdowns. He was named a Canada West All-Star in each of the past two seasons and was the Rams top receiver in both of those years. He had his best season last year when he led the conference with 52 receptions and finished third in receiving yards with 700. He was named the Rams Rookie of the Year in 2006.
