Calgary, AB-The Calgary Roughnecks travel to Florida for their one and only visit to face the Orlando Titans at the Amway Arena on Saturday, March 20th. Ball drop is at 5:30 p.m. MST.

"Obviously the Titans are a very good team," said defenseman Scott Carnegie. "They play a tight defence, and with Vinc (goaltender Matt Vinc) playing as well as he has been, we are going to have to work hard for our goals."

The Riggers have faced the Titans (formerly the New York Titans) just once in regular season history, claiming a 12-10 victory in New York at Madison Square Garden on Feb. 28th, 2009. Kaleb Toth led the way with a hat trick and three helpers, while Dane Dobbie (3g, 2a), Josh Sanderson (1g, 5a), Tracey Kelusky (1g, 3a) and Scott Ranger (1g, 2a) also had strong showings. Jeff Moleski and Jeff Shattler added singles, while Matt King stopped 33 of 43 shots he faced.

The same two teams then met again at the 'Dome on May 15th in the Champion's Cup Final and the result was the same with Calgary winning 12-10. Sanderson took home MVP honours with two goals and three assists, while Bruce Codd (2g, 1a), Dobbie (2g, 2a), Toth (1g, 5a), Kelusky (1g, 2a), Ranger (1g, 1a), Mike Carnegie (1g), Curt Malawsky (1g) and Shattler (1g) all got in on the action. King made 32 saves in the Calgary net.

"In order to win, we must put together a complete team effort for the entire game and be very disciplined," added Carnegie. "Our transition game will be a big factor and must contribute in order for success."

Sanderson currently leads the NLL with an impressive 7.11 points-per-game average. With 19 goals and 45 assists for 64 points in nine games played, he trails just Colin Doyle of the Toronto Rock by two points despite playing in two less games. Doyle has fired 17 goals to go with 49 assists in 11 games played.

Roughnecks President and General Manager Brad Banister recently announced that the club signed transition player Mark Scherman and also released Carlton Schuss from the roster. Scherman, who was raised in Calgary, previously played for the Toronto Rock. This will be his third season in the NLL.

Saturday night's game will be broadcast live on www.nll.com. A complete game story will be emailed and posted on www.calgaryroughnecks.com following the game.
