ORLANDO, Fla. (March 19, 2010) - The Orlando Titans announced today the launching of www.titansacademyoflacrosse.com, a new web site that will promote the Titan's efforts to grow the game of lacrosse through the Titans Academy of Lacrosse.

Founded last November, the Academy is a multi-faceted program with a stated goal of improving player, coaching and refereeing skills at all levels of the game; while increasing overall fan awareness and interest in the sport.

The new website will focus on Academy operations, including providing up-to-the-minute information on the many camps, clinics, private and group instruction, league consulting and special events conducted by the Titans Academy of Lacrosse. In addition, the www.titansacademyoflacrosse.com provides detailed information on camp instructors, news, videos and offers fans an opportunity to join in the Academy's social networking pages.

"This website was the next step in our pledge to continue to grow and promote the game of lacrosse at both the professional and amateur levels," Titans Director of Lacrosse Development Nate Snyder said. "Fans will now be able to go to one site to find information on all the programs the Academy offers."

In a related announcement, the Titans Academy of Lacrosse said that Central Florida's first Box Lacrosse League would begin play this Sunday, March 21. The five-week league will play at the roller hockey rink at Barber Park and will feature divisions for high school boys and girls, as well as an open men's division.

Playing spots remain open for the Box League, for more information call Snyder at 407-601-6516 or log on to www.titansacademyoflacrosse.com.
