Titans To Change Ownership Structure, Sit Out 2011 Season
August 2, 2010 - National Lacrosse League (NLL)
Orlando Titans News Release
The Orlando Titans franchise will not participate in the 2011 NLL season, as the club continues with efforts to restructure its ownership. The NLL looks forward to the return of the Titans to Orlando in 2012 once the new ownership of the team is re-structured.
Titans' team executives announced last month that they were seeking to increase the percentage of local, Central Florida-based ownership for the franchise.
A dispersal draft for the contract rights to the Titans players will be scheduled by the league.
