Plainview, NY; November 10, 2005 - The Long Island Rough Riders Professional Soccer Team is proud to announce that it has launched its redesigned website at www.liroughriders.com. LIROUGHRIDERS.COM reflects the new brand image and team logo recently introduced by the organization and provides a wealth of information on the Rough Riders Men's USL Division 2 professional team, the extensive Super Y-League and Rough Riders Developmental youth programs, Rough Riders Summer Camps, and the Rough Riders Training Center.
LIROUGHRIDERS.COM is the year-round source for information on the Rough Riders. During the professional season, which takes place between April and August, the website will keep fans and the media up-to-date on the latest schedules, scores, player moves, and statistics. During the off-season, the site will continue to offer the latest news on the professional team.
During the Spring and Summer seasons, the Youth section of LIROUGHRIDERS.COM will feature rosters, scores, news, and updates for the organization's Super Y-League and Rough Riders Developmental teams. Information on team tryouts, practices, and games will also be posted to this special section.
During the Fall, Winter, and early Spring seasons, the site will provide the most current information to the adult and youth indoor soccer leagues that utilize the Rough Riders Training Center at Mitchel Athletic Complex in Uniondale. This includes game schedules, standings, and statistics.
Another exciting aspect of the website will be the expanded Rough Riders Team Store. This e-commerce-enabled catalog will give fans the opportunity to purchase season and individual game tickets online, as well as Rough Riders official team merchandise.
To further strengthen the bond between the Rough Riders and its loyal fans, LIROUGHRIDERS.COM enables visitors to add their email addresses to the Rough Riders email newsletter list. Email list members will receive periodic updates on all aspects of the Rough Riders organization.
