Roster Update: Republic FC Releases Midfielder Arnold Lopez

Sacramento, Calif. - Republic FC has released Midfielder Arnold Lopez from his contract for the remainder of the 2024 season. Lopez joined Sacramento ahead of the 2023 campaign and logged 35 appearances, with one assist on the year. An injury near the close of last season resulted in an off-season procedure, preventing him from making any appearances in 2024.
Republic FC continues its season tomorrow night when the Indomitable Club heads to Colorado Springs to face off against Switchbacks FC. The club is currently in a three-way tie atop the Western Conference table and remains undefeated on the season. Kickoff from Weidner Field is set for 5:00 p.m. PT and the match will be broadcast live in English and Spanish on Antenna TV 40.2 and streaming on FOX40.com, through the FOX40 News mobile app, and on ESPN+.
