Rookie Defenseman Chiarot Recalled to IceCaps

LOVELAND, Colo. - The Colorado Eagles, proud affiliate of the NHL's Winnipeg Jets & the AHL's St. John's IceCaps, announced today that defenseman Ben Chiarot (pronounced: sh-rot) has been re-assigned to the IceCaps' roster. The rookie has recorded 13 points (6-7-13) and 13 penalty minutes in 24 games with the Eagles this season after being sent down to the team in late January.

Colorado will play the Las Vegas Wranglers tonight in the first of four road games this week. They'll play in Bakersfield, Calif. tomorrow night before ending the penultimate week of the regular season with a pair of games in Utah.
