Trenton Titans News Release
TRENTON, N.J. - The Trenton Titans will be hosting Irish Heritage Night presented by Killarney's, complete with a Ryan's Quest benefit, Saturday evening.
Ryan's Quest, a non-profit, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity, was founded by Maria and David Schultz of Hamilton upon learning of their son, Ryan's diagnosis with Duchenne muscular dystrophy
The mission of Ryan's Quest is to increase awareness of Duchenne muscular dystrophy with the purpose of allocating funds for research that has the greatest potential of finding a cure or treatment for this disease.
The hope is to find a cure for Duchenne muscular dystrophy to save Ryan's life and the lives of all boys affected by this disease and to provide them with a future of great opportunity. Visit www.ryansquest.org for additional information about the organization's cause.
The day starts with a 3 p.m. Sun National Bank Center in-ice meeting between the Hamilton Police and Hamilton Firefighters for Ryan's Cup IV. Tickets, good for both this game and the Titans' regularly scheduled game with Reading at 7 p.m., were sold with some proceeds going to Ryan's Quest.
In their game, the Titans will wear special St. Patrick's Day-themed jerseys, which will be auctioned after the game, with proceeds going to Ryan's Quest. The night's Chuck-A-Puck and 50-50 will also bring funding for Ryan's Quest.
The Titans have two other remaining home games - Elmira (March 28), the final Flyers Family Alumni Wednesday, and Wheeling (March 30), which is Fan Appreciation Night.
Tickets for all Titans games are on sale by calling the Titans offices at 609-341-1100. Single-game tickets are also available at the Sun National Bank Center box office and on-line at www.comcasttix.com.
