MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Enny Romero (11-6) fired seven shutout-innings while the Biscuits (64-65, 26-32) knocked around 12 hits in a 5-0 win over the Mississippi Braves (70-58, 32-26) Wednesday night at Riverwalk Stadium.

Romero worked a perfect first inning with two strikeouts and had similar dominance the rest of the way. The Dominican-lefty struck out seven, scattered five hits and only walked one for his eleventh victory of the season.

Offensively, the Biscuits started early off of Gus Schlosser (6-5) who had not given up more than two earned runs in a start since April 18. After walking two batters to start the first, Mikie Mahtook singled in a run to put the Biscuits on the board as a part of a two-run first. Mahtook finished his night 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs.

Cameron Seitzer and Mayo Acosta drove in a run each in the fourth inning to make it 4-0 and chase Schlosser from the game. Curt Casali added an RBI-single in the seventh to make it 5-0 Biscuits. The RBI was Casali's 25th in 25 games with Montgomery.

The series-finale is Thursday night at 7:05. RHP Marquis Fleming will head to the hill for the Biscuits while the Braves will send RHP Mitch Atkins to the mound.
