JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Justin Nicolino tossed seven scoreless innings for the Jacksonville Suns (34-25, 68-58), but the bullpen could not hold a one-run lead and the Chattanooga Lookouts (21-38, 56-73) prevailed in game five of a six-game series, 3-1.

Nicolino, recently named the Southern League's Pitcher of the Week, was just as superb as he was in his previous start, a 13-strikeout performance against the Birmingham Barons. Against Chattanooga, the left-hander did not surrender a run over seven innings, permitting just five hits and striking out a pair of Lookouts.

Nicolino's outing, along with Mark Canha's solo home run in the top of the second inning, was not enough to spare Jacksonville its fourth straight loss to Chattanooga. Leading 1-0 into the eighth, the Suns saw their slim advantage slip away when Pete Andrelczyk (0-1) allowed a pinch-hit home run to Angelo Songco, knotting the game at one.

Several batters later, Andrelczyk uncorked a wild pitch that allowed Miguel Rojas to score from third base. Chattanooga added an insurance run when Brian Cavazos-Galvez lifted a sacrifice fly, bringing the Lookouts' lead to 3-1.

Yimi Garcia posted a spotless top of the ninth inning to secure the victory for Chattanooga, which in turn clinched a series victory for the Lookouts at AT&T Field.

While the bullpen was unable to finish off the victory, the Suns also struggled at the plate. Canha's solo homer, his 12th of the season, was one of just three hits for Jacksonville. Canha's ninth inning double and Derek Dietrich's single accounted for the only other two hits of the night.

The Suns will try to salvage the final game of the six-game set on Thursday behind highly touted lefty Andrew Heaney (3-1, 3.05). Heaney will face off against Lookouts right-hander Ross Stripling (5-3, 3.00), with first pitch scheduled for 7:15 p.m. ET.

Suns fans can listen to Thursday's game on the Suns Baseball Network, 94.1 WSOS-FM or through jaxsuns.com, MiLB.com or the Suns iPhone or Android app, beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET with the UF Health Suns Pre-Game Show.
