The Wilmington Blue Rocks swept a doubleheader from the Hudson Valley Renegades on Thursday night in Wilmington.
Game one went to the Rocks, 3-2, while Wilmington took the nightcap, 2-1.
Jhony Brito (3-4) pitched a six-inning complete game in the opener, allowing three runs (two earned). Yasel Antuna homered for the first run of the game in the third while a fielder's choice and an error brought home the other two runs in the fifth.
Alfonso Hernandez got the won for the Rocks (2-2) and Zach Brzykcy picked up his first save.
Pablo Olivares had three hits and drove in a run for Hudson Valley.
In game two, Chad Bell hit a second-inning home run to give the Renegades an early lead but Wilmington tied it in the bottom of the frame. They took the lead in the third and held on for the win.
The Blue Rocks held Hudson Valley to just two hits -- Bell's home run and an Elijah Dunham single in the seventh. The Gades had the tying run at third in the top of the seventh but could not push it across and lost their third game in a row.
Andrew Karp (1-1) got the win with three innings of scoreless relief. Sean Boyle (0-1) took the loss for the Renegades.
