Rockland Wins 2-1 in Rain-Shortened Game with Ottawa
August 17, 2018 - Canadian American League (Can-Am)
New York Boulders News Release
Rockland defeated Ottawa 2-1 tonight in a rain-shortened game on Friday night to take the second game of the series.
Cody Regis powered a one-out solo home run to give the Boulders a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the sixth and that was all the Boulders needed because a storm hit in the bottom of the seventh inning.
Bo Budkevics returned to the Boulders tonight and pitched four solid innings only allowing three hits. Frank Moscatiello came in and pitched 2.2 innings but left the game in a jam. Nick Kennedy was able to get out of the jam to secure the win for Rockland.
Rockland returns home to continue the series with Ottawa tomorrow night at Palisades Credit Union Park starting at 7 pm.
