RockHounds Enter Final Month of the Regular Season

Midland RockHounds News Release
The RockHounds will continue the 2008 season with 17 home games in August. Be sure to reserve your company picnic, employee outing or church group today before school is back in session. Call (432) 520-2255 for more details. All game times at 6:30 PM (Monday - Saturday) and 6:00 PM (Sunday).
ROSTER MOVEMENT
Several roster moves will be made this week to fill the roster after the loss of Brett Anderson and Trevor Cahill to the USA Olympic Team. The RockHounds added Jared Lansford from Single-A Stockton to replace Chris Farley (promoted to Sacramento) and will look to add a couple more pitchers this week. Michael Affronti is currently with Sacramento, but will rejoin the RockHounds in Frisco later this week. Affronti was promoted to fill Gregorio Petit's spot, who is on a short leave of absence.
The RockHounds and Hooks will finish their four game series at Whataburger Field on Monday night. The RockHounds will then travel up the road to Frisco for a three game series, before returning to Citibank Ballpark to start a brief four game home stand on Friday.
