Rockford, Fort Wayne Ready For Semis, Set Playoff Dates

Rockford, Ill.- The Rockford IceHogs, in conjunction with the Fort Wayne Komets and United Hockey League, announced the IceHogs-Komets Colonial Cup Playoff Semifinals schedule on Monday for the club's best-of-seven series. The series marks the third straight postseason in which the IceHogs and Komets will meet.
The semifinals will get underway on Friday, April 27 at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Ind. with Game One at 7 p.m. (CDT). Game Two is slated for Sunday, April 29 in Fort Wayne at 5 p.m.
Rockford will host Games Three and Four at the Rockford MetroCentre. Game Three is set for Wednesday, May 2 and Game Four is scheduled for Friday, May 4 with puck drops scheduled for 7:30 p.m. for both games. If necessary, Game Six will also be played in Rockford on Sunday, May 6 at 5:05 p.m.

Next Home Game: Wednesday, May 2 vs. Fort Wayne Komets. The series resumes at 7:30 p.m. Game Three of the Rockford-Fort Wayne clash at the Rockford MetroCentre. The pivotal third game in the Colonial Cup Semifinals is the first of two straight contests between the Hogs and Komets in Rockford in the best-of-seven series.
