
Rockets To Pick Second In Bantam Draft

Kelowna, BC - The WHL Bantam Draft Lottery was held this morning in Calgary at the Western Hockey League Offices. Jacques de Leeuw of the accounting firm KPMG supervised the Lottery.
The Portland Winter Hawks had the first ball drawn and will have the first pick overall. The second selection belongs to the Kelowna Rockets. The expansion Edmonton Oil Kings will receive the third pick overall. The Rockets will have the third pick in each subsequent round.
The Rockets will also have the 7th overall pick in the upcoming European Draft to be held in late June.
