The Kelowna Rockets extended their win streak to five games with a 4-1 win over the Prince George Cougars on Wednesday night at the CN Centre in Prince George, BC.

Colton Dach posted a three-point night, while Pavel Novak had a pair of points - including the game-winning goal.

Jari Kykkanen made 21 saves on 22 shots to pick up his seventh win of the season.

Colton Dach (26) out the Rockets on the board first with his ninth power play goal of the season. Fischer O'Brien (1) on the ensuing faceoff after a failed Ethan Samson Cougars penalty shot. Pavel Novak (28) restored the Rockets lead in the final moments of the period.

Gabriel Szturc (16) beat Ty Young glove side late in the third on the power play.

The Rockets were two-for-three with the power play, while the Cougars were unsuccessful on both of their chances.

Kelowna outshot Prince George 24-22.

The next Rockets home game is Saturday, April 9th when they host the Vancouver Giants at 7:05 pm. Season ticket holders, please use your home game number 16 tickets.
