The Seattle Thunderbirds defeated the Kelowna Rockets 4-2 on Saturday night in Seattle, snapping a five game Rockets winning steak.

The Thunderbirds led 2-0 after the first period before Kelowna got back into the game, tying the score at 2-2 in the third period, but two late goals by Seattle sealed the Thunderbirds' victory.

Rourke Chartier and Myles Bell scored for Kelowna, while Jackson Whistle took the loss in net, his first loss of the season.

Seth Swenson, Roberts Lipsbergs, Shea Theodore and Brendan Rouse scored for Seattle.

Kelowna returns home this week for a pair of games: hosting Swift Current on Wednesday and Prince George on Satuday.
