Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen fell 4-1 to the Kelowna Rockets in the Hitmen Fight Cancer game presented by Delta West Academy Sunday afternoon at the Scotiabank Saddledome.

Brendan Hurley scored Calgary's lone goal in the early minutes of the opening frame to record his first marker of the season. Rookie Josh Thrower chipped in an assist in the loss.

Zach Franko netted a pair of goals and added a helper for Kelowna, while Dylen McKinlay and Colton Sissons also scored for the visitors.

Mack Shields recorded 26 saves in the Hitmen net as Kelowna outshot Calgary 30-22.

Fans can bid on the Hitmen Fight Cancer pink jerseys until Tuesday, Oct. 30 at 8 p.m. MT by visiting www.elevateauctions.com/hitmenhockeycancer. Proceeds from the game-worn jersey auction will support both the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation - Prairies/NWT Region and Kids Cancer Care Foundation of Alberta. Winning bidders will be presented with jerseys following the home game on Friday, November 9.

Calgary, now 8-4-1-2, heads out on a three-game East Division road swing from Nov. 2-4, starting Friday night in Regina followed by stops in Brandon and Moose Jaw. The Hitmen return to the Scotiabank Saddledome on Wednesday, Nov. 7 to host the Moose Jaw Warriors, with a 7 p.m. puck drop.
