
Rock Cats Twin Bill Rained Out Today

New Britain, CT - The New Britain Rock Cats Doubleheader with the Portland Sea Dogs scheduled for 12:05 this afternoon at New Britain Stadium has been postponed due to inclement weather. The Sea Dogs are the Eastern League affiliate of the American League's Boston Red Sox.
The two EL teams will attempt to make-up today's twin washout with back-to-back Doubleheaders scheduled for tomorrow - Wednesday, July 22nd - and Thursday, July 23rd. Both tomorrow and Thursday's double-barreled action will start at 5:05 PM - and each of the games will be 7-innings in duration. Both Doubleheaders will be single-admission affairs - two games for the price of one.
Fans holding tickets for today's twin bill are invited to use them for the Doubleheaders now scheduled over the next two days - or for any other remaining 2009 Regular Season contest at New Britain Stadium.
The New Britain Rock Cats are the Eastern League partners of the American League's Minnesota Twins..
