Rochester Loses Final Game, Finishes Season 32-36

The Rochester Honkers (32-36, 14-20) concluded their 30th season with a 10-7 loss on the road versus the La Crosse Loggers (40-28, 27-7). La Crosse, who finishes with the best record in the Great Plains East, scored eight straight runs after The Flock jumped out to a 7-2 lead.

Rochester got a big game from Petey Craska (Georgia Tech), who smashed two two-run home runs. Craska ends the year with a team-high ten home runs and 48 RBIs. Dario Gomez (Miami) had a two-RBI double while Kimo Fukofuka (San Jose State) also recorded an RBI.

La Crosse scored four runs in the fifth and seventh innings, respectively, to fuel their comeback victory. Drew Peters (San Joaquin Delta College) and Joey Craska (NJIT) (1-2) each allowed five runs (four earned) as errors plagued the Honkers again.

Rochester finishes with a 32-36 record for the second consecutive season.
