Rockford, IL - The Rockford Rivets wrapped up their season on a high note with an impressive 9-1 victory over the Traverse City Pit Spitters at Turtle Creek Stadium on August 12th. This final game showcased the Rivets' unwavering determination and solid teamwork.

The starting pitcher, Landen Southern, delivered a standout performance, pitching for 7 innings and recording an impressive 9 strikeouts. His dominance on the mound set the tone for the game, making him a force to be reckoned with.

The Rivets' offense came alive with remarkable contributions from TJ Williams, Bradley White, Wyatt Morgan, Conner Allen, RJ Carver, and Joel Conners. Their combined efforts led to a surge in the score, reaching an impressive 9 runs.

With this win, the Rockford Rivets concluded their season with the third-best record in the entire Northwoods League. While falling short of a playoff spot due to Kalamazoo's exceptional win streak, the Rivets demonstrated their skill and dedication throughout the season.
