CINCINNATI, Ohio - The 2010 Kelly Cup Champion Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL's Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today that forwards Chris Clackson and Brady Calla have been assigned by the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League.

Clackson, a rookie winger from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, joins the Cyclones after starting his professional career in Rochester. This season for Chuck Weber's Americans, he has 4 points (2 goals, 2 assists) in 16 games. Prior to this year, Clackson played four collegiate seasons with the Western Michigan Broncos (CCHA), compiling 36 points (19 goals, 17 assists) in 129 career-games.

Calla, a Florida Panthers third-round selection in 2006, is in the midst of his fourth season as a professional. In 10 games with the Americans this year, he's notched a goal and an assist. The Cyclones will be Calla's second-career ECHL stop, as he played 16 games last season with the Florida Everblades.

Both players will join the Cyclones as they begin a four-game, three city road trip tonight against the Reading Royals. The mid-week game can be heard live on CyclonesHockey.com beginning with Cyclones Warm Up at 6:50pm. The opening face-off from the Sovereign Center is at 7:05pm.

The defending Kelly Cup Champions return to U.S. Bank Arena on Friday, December 3 for Scout Night and the opener of a two-game set with the Florida Everblades at 7:30pm. In addition to $1 John Morrell Hot Dogs, the first 3,000 fans through the gates will receive a Cyclones poster. It's also Weiner Dog race night, with an intermission race featuring some local Tri-State canines. Discounted ticket packages and single game tickets for the 2010-2011 season are available now.
