Game Notes: The Rochester Americans kickoff their four-game in five-night stretch tonight as they host the Manitoba Moose in the first game of a two-game home mini series between the North Division rivals. The 7:05 p.m. contest can be heard live on Hot Talk 1280 WHTK, whtk.com and B2 networks. The game will also be televised on Time Warner Sports Channel 26. Promotions: The contest falls on the next installment of the clevermethod Business Persons' special. Fans can turn in their business cards at The Blue Cross Arena Box Office and receive a $21.00 ticket for just $10.00. Offer is valid for all Amerks home games Monday through Thursday. Contact the Amerks Office at (585) 454-5335 for more information Head-to-Head: Rochester and Manitoba have competed six times thus far this season, with the Moose coming out victorious in each meeting. The Amerks are 14-19-1 all-time against the Vancouver Canucks' Affiliate. Rochester dropped a 3-2 decision in its previous meeting to the Moose on January 5th at the MTS Centre. Amerks Notes: The Amerks (20-39-6-4) enter the contest after falling to the Binghamton Senators 7-4 Saturday night at Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena. Mark Mancari remains Rochester's top point-getter with 48 points (16+32) on the year. First year defenseman-turned-forward Marc-Andre Gragnani follows closely with 47 points (12+35). His 47 points currently rank him fourth among AHL rookies while his 35 assists are a team best. Stefan Meyer and Dylan hunter each share the team lead with 18 goals apiece. Adam Dennis comes into the game after winning his last two starts. Amerks captain Clarke MacArthur and newcomer Tommy Goebel have picked up a goal and three assists in their last three games. Gragnani (3+4) and Hunter (2+4) are also currently riding four-game point streaks. Rochester currently sits at the bottom of the AHL. Player Moves: Defenseman Mike Funk makes his return back in the Amerks lineup tonight after spending a four-game stint with the Buffalo Sabres in his first National Hockey League promotion this season. Amerks General Manager Jody Gage announced yesterday that the team has signed defenseman Mike Kostka to an amateur tryout contract (ATO). Kostka, 22, joins the Amerks after a four-year collegiate career with the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. A native of Ajax, Ontario, Kostka registered 53 points (15+38) and 74 penalty minutes (PIM) in 143 games for the Minutemen. The team captain notched a career high 21 points (9+12) while appearing in every game on the blueline during his senior year at UMass.

Moose Notes: Manitoba comes to The Blue Cross Arena on a nine-game winning streak. They picked up their ninth win in a row in Cleveland last night with a 7-2 rout over the Lake Erie Monsters. Leading the way for the Moose is goaltender Drew MacIntyre with a 24-16-2 record on the year and the fifth best goals-against-average in the AHL at 2.12. Brad Moran leads the team in points with 67 (20+47) on the season. Leading the team in goals is left winger Jason Jaffray with 21. The Moose currently reside in third place in the Western Conference with 87 points and second in the North Division. Next Game: Rochester remains at home to complete the two-game mini series with Manitoba on Friday, March 28th at The Blue Cross Arena.
