Birmingham, AL - Behind Orlando Robinson's 41 points and 13 rebounds, the Sioux Falls Skyforce handed the Birmingham Squadron a 121-116 defeat for the team's fifth-straight victory.
Robinson, a HEAT assignee, secured his seventh-straight double-double in a Sioux Falls jersey, tying his NBA G League era franchise record from last season for consecutive games of 10-plus points and 10-plus rebounds.
The Skyforce (5-0) erupted for 42 first quarter points, as Robinson paced the team with 15 points on 6-7 FGA and six rebounds to take a 42-25 lead over Birmingham (1-4).
Sioux Falls commanded as much as a 19-point lead in the second frame and secured a 65-50 lead at intermission.
New Orleans Pelicans assignee Kira Lewis Jr. scored 23 points in the second half, as the Squadron outscored the Force 66-56 in the final 24 minutes.
The Skyforce held a 115-113 lead with 21.4 seconds left, but Justin Champagnie netted six free throws down the stretch to earn the victory.
Champagnie finished with 26 points, nine rebounds, five assists and steals, while Alondes Williams added 19 points, eight rebounds and eight assists.
Sioux Falls returns home to face the Salt Lake City Stars on Sunday at 3:00 PM CST.
