ROANOKE VA â The following is a list of upcoming community events that will be attended by members of the Roanoke Express.
Tuesday, March 9, 2004 â From 1-2 p.m. Express assistant coach Bob Thornton along with players Duncan Dalmao and Joe Dusbabek will be appearing at Mountain View Elementary School. The three will meet with students to read them selected books and sign autographs.
Tuesday, March 10, 2004 â From 10-10:30 a.m. Express player Andrew McPherson will be appearing at Oak Grove Elementary School to meet with students to answer questions and sign autographs.
Wednesday, March 11, 2004 â From 1-2 p.m. Express players will be appearing at Mason's Cove Elementary School to read to several classes. After reading, the players will be answering questions and signing autographs.
The Express hosts the Alaska Aces on Wednesday, March 17 at 7:00 p.m. for its next home game at the Roanoke Civic Center. For group ticket information, please contact the Express office at (540) 343-4500.
