RoadRunners' Throwback Jersey Auction Begins Tonight

Phoenix, Ariz. - The Phoenix RoadRunners of the ECHL will commence their online auction for the game-worn throwback 1977-78 Roadrunners jerseys at 6PM today. The auction can be accessed at www.phxroadrunners.com and will run until 6PM on December 15.
Each jersey features the traditional yellow, blue, and white colors of the RoadRunners with "Rocky" imprinted on the state of Arizona on the front of the sweater. The RoadRunners wore these jerseys during last Saturday's game against the Long Beach Ice Dogs to celebrate "Turn Back the Clock Night" at America West Arena. The 1977-78 version of the Phoenix Roadrunners advanced to the Pacific Hockey League Championship before falling to the San Francisco Shamrocks.
The RoadRunners online jersey auction is being held in conjunction with the MeiGray Group, the official game-worn jersey source of the ECHL. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the ECHL/Salvation Army Hurricane Relief Fund.
The RoadRunners conclude their current four-game homestand at 7:11PM tonight against the Las Vegas Wranglers. Head on down to America West Arena for the 1st annual RoadRunners' "Jersey Shore Beach Party." Come out in your best beach attire and help us pay tribute to a true Jersey Shore icon, Bon Jovi, in our "Runaway with RoadRunners' Loot Sing-Along"! After the game, head to Alice Cooper'stown for "Thirsty Thursday". Enjoy pints of Bud and Bud Light for just $3, the "Best Damn Margarita" for only $4 and other great drink specials throughout the night.
