
Roadrunners Team up with Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley

EDINBURG, Texas--- The Edinburg Roadrunners of the United Baseball League are proud to announce their annual partnership with the Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley.
Starting with Sunday, July 25, followed by August 8, 22, and 29, the Roadrunners will be accepting food donations in the ongoing feed the hungry here at home program. For every four cans of nonperishable food items donated on those designated Sundays, the fans will receive one free general admission ticket.
"We are very proud to be involved with this community program once again," said Edinburg's General Manager, Doug Leary. Next week will mark the Roadrunners second year being involved with this successful program.
