San Angelo Colts News Release
The San Angelo Colts traded rightfielder Adam Hale to the Lake County (IL) Fielders of the Northern League in exchange for future considerations.
In his place, the Colts signed former Angelo State outfielder Isaac Garcia to the roster.
Hale hit .276 in 43 games for the Colts with seven homers and 29 RBI.
In his final game with San Angelo on Tuesday, Hale went 3-4 with a homer, double, run and RBI.
Garcia comes to the Colts after finishing his career at Angelo State this past season.
The El Paso, TX native was a two-year letterwinner with the Rams and hit .404 his senior year with eight homers and 47 RBI, while going 25-25 in the stolen base department.
Before Angelo State, Garcia attended New Mexico Military Institute and Clarendon College for one year each.
While at New Mexico Military Institute, Garcia set a school record by posting a .484 batting average.
The Colts continue their four-game series with the Rio Grande White Wings tonight at 7:05.
San Angelo will send out Chandler Barnard (2-1, 4.96 ERA) against Misael DeJesus (1-3, 6.05 ERA).
The broadcast gets underway at 6:50 with the Kemps Pregame Show and can be heard on 1260 KKSA.

If the Colts don't win that night's game all fans in attendance will receive free admission to the next Wednesday home game on August 4 against Laredo.
In addition, Wednesday's game will be preceded by a Youth Clinic courtesy of Wal-Mart as Colts players and coaches will teach members of Casey's Kids Club the skills and fundamentals to become better baseball players.

for participants and their parents while the clinic should run from 5-6.
It should be noted that you MUST be a member of Casey's Kids Club to participate in the clinic.
