Estero, FL: The Road Warriors turned the table on the Florida Everblades with a third period comeback to collect a point in a 5-4 shootout loss on Saturday night.

Greenville began the scoring 7:37 into regulation. A slap shot from the point was saved by Florida's goaltender Connor Knapp but a rebound was left for a goal. Marc-Olivier Vallerand scored his 15th of the year with assists given to Kyle Jean and Ryan Hegarty. The Road Warriors extended the lead with Scott Arnold scoring his 12th of the year on a deflection with a pass from Bretton Cameron. Hegarty also assisted in the goal. Arnold continues his goal streak to three games; all scored against Florida this week.

Florida controlled the second period and began a three-goal stanza with a tally eight minutes in by Carl Nielsen. The forward scored his third of the year directly off a face-off. Under four minutes left, Sean Dolan drove the puck past Road Warriors' goaltender, Jeff Malcolm, to tie the game at two. With five seconds left, Trevor Bruess scored his eighth of the year from the corner. The shot bounced off Malcolm's stick and into the net to give Florida a 3-2 lead. This came directly after Malcolm made a fantastic save on a two-on-one.

Florida extended their lead to 4-2 with another goal from Dolan who scored his second of the night just 1:24 into the third period. Greenville began to storm back with a goal from Bretton Cameron who beat Knapp with a wrist shot for his second of the year. With 1:37 left, Jordie Johnston scored to tie the game at four. Michael St. Croix and Andrew Rowe were involved to find Johnston in front of the net for his 17th of the year. The goal forced a back-and-forth overtime and eventually shootouts for the second straight night. The Road Warriors were stopped in all four chances by Knapp during the shootout. Danick Gauthier and Brandon MacLean scored to give Florida the 5-4 win. Malcolm took the loss in net with 19 saves.
